Overview
Olivia’s Poulet Authentique is a fast food brand specializing in Korean-inspired fried chicken. To support its growth and restaurant franchise model, the brand wanted to structure its brand positioning and strengthen its visual identity as a restaurant.
Grafico, a Montreal-based branding agency, helped Olivia’s create a strong, distinctive, and scalable brand.

The Challenge
The fast food sector in Montreal is highly competitive. The challenge was to stand out with unique restaurant branding while highlighting the Korean DNA of the concept. The challenge was also to create a consistent brand image that could be easily adapted to marketing materials and suited to the development of food franchises.
The Solution
Grafico defined a clear and distinctive restaurant branding strategy, translated into a fast food restaurant visual identity inspired by the Korean “aegyo” aesthetic. As a result, over 100 franchise applications were received after the opening of the first branded restaurant. 12 new franchises opened in less than three years. As a final crunch, Grafico took home First Prize at the 2021 Summit International Awards for its Comprehensive Brand Campaign. The collaboration between Grafico and Olivia’s continued long-term, in order to support this success.
