Where Technological Innovation Takes Off
Overview
Centech is a Montreal-based incubator that supports technology startups by providing entrepreneurs with an ecosystem of resources, tools, and contacts to help them grow.
Specializing in deeptech and medtech, Centech has supported more than 140 companies, enabling many transformative projects to come to life.
The Challenge
In order to remain aligned with its distinctly young, expert, and connected target audience, Centech approached Grafico with the goal of revisiting and refreshing its visual identity. This is always a delicate process, requiring a great deal of nuance and precision in order to evolve the brand in a meaningful way without compromising its essence.
The Solution
A thorough analysis of existing tools allowed Grafico, in collaboration with the Centech team, to identify which elements should be retained, evolved, or completely replaced. Building on these solid foundations, the design team was able to fully rethink Centech’s brand identity while keeping in mind its practical day-to-day use by the communications team. A system made up of new colors, patterns, textures, icons, grids, and typefaces was created and rolled out across all of the incubator’s marketing tools.

The Website
For the website, two main challenges guided our approach. First, the large volume of essential content needed to be structured in a way that remained clear and engaging. Grafico addressed this by designing a formatting system that organizes information and enhances readability. Second, the navigation was rethought to better serve Centech’s diverse audiences, allowing each user to quickly access the content most relevant to their needs.
